A BIT ABOUT ME
Counselling is my vocation and professional passion.I work as an integrative counsellor allowing me to use different approaches to build a working alliance with my client that is unique to them and their needs. I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am an ACTO accredited telephone and online therapist. I am continually working on my personal development and training to improve my expertise.
A BIT ABOUT YOU
Seeking counselling, especially for the first time can be daunting, and for good reason. Counselling is not a quick fix, it's about wanting to make positive changes in your life which takes time and investment in the process. My job is to be your companion in this exploration, a companion with a torch to shine a light in the darkest places. A companion who has no goals for you offers no judgment or advice but simply wants to get to know you, who you are today as we sit together.
I will help you understand the patterns you have that have continued to have a negative impact on your life so far. Together we can bring those behaviours into your awareness allowing you to be open to choosing new positive ways to approach life's struggles.
I have an interest and experience of :-
● Low mood
● Depression
● Anxiety
● Trauma
● Survivors of rape
● Addiction
● LGBTQ+
● Self-worth and confidence
● Relating to self and others
